Today’s post is short, simple, and sweet. I found these words framed at a local thrift shop and they were useful to me. Perhaps you may make use of them too.
Thank You For Today
This is a new day, never touched by me before.
I can waste it or use it for good.
What I do today is important because
I am exchanging a day of my life for it.
When tomorrow comes,
this day will be gone forever——
leaving in its place something I have traded for it.
I want it to be good, not evil,
growth, not destruction; peace not violence,
in order that I shall not regret the
price I paid for today.
Keep an open eye out for life’s ‘gems’, which are all around us, if we will only look for them.
