Tulani and Dakarai have been two happy and healthy raw vegans since their respective births. Our first child was born while my partner was on a standard western diet and our 2nd child was born of a vegan pregnancy. The oldest was breastfed until ~40 months of age, and very occasionally still nurses. The youngest, ~30 months old, still regularly nurses throughout day and night. Gorgeous!
What a sweet family you created! It was a pleasure watching them enjoy fruit meals, and making his own meal as well. You never bore us with videos, so just keep making them, please!
So adorable!!
How lovely…just curious, how do your children measure against the standard growth charts?
Thanks for asking Lindsay.
Both children are on the ‘small’ side of standard growth chart, which is to be expected. They are not any consuming animal growth hormones, like the standard populous is, therefore we expect them to grow at a slower rate, but still reach full adult size. Likely, puberty will arrive later than the standard populous as well. As the saying goes, “Early to seed is a plant in need.” Healthy, plant based children will have bodies in no rush to reach adulthood, that mature at a natural growth rate.
It is so good to see young children eating so healthy and enjoying it. Also helping to prepare it and cleaning up after themselves at a young age.
Where do you live?
